Biography

Paul Connaghan is a mediator and arbitrator at Advanced Resolution Management. He heightened his mediation skills by way of interactive mediator training at Pepperdine University Law School’s nationally respected Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution. As a Nevada Supreme Court Arbitrator in the 8th Judicial District Court’s Mandatory Arbitration Program, Paul arbitrates commercial, real estate and personal injury litigation matters. He has collaborated with exceptional jurists, mediators, attorneys and litigants in arbitrations and settlement conferences in State and Federal appellate and lower courts (US District Court; 9th Circuit Court of Appeals). He also represents individuals and companies as a Nevada attorney. Mediation, negotiation, settlement and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) are ingrained in his law practice. He forms small businesses (partnerships, LLCs and corporations) and negotiates and drafts agreements crafted to bring parties to a pragmatic outcome in their litigation and transactional affairs. He is appointed by the Clark County Board of County Commissioners as an Administrative Hearing Officer with the Department of Family Services. Paul embraces volunteer community service: He is a Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) attorney, a Specialty Court Judge with the Clark County Courts and School District in the Truancy Diversion Program (TDP). The State Bar of Nevada selected him in 2016 for his second term with the Advisory Committee to the Nevada Judicial Discipline Commission.
