|We are honored to announce that Justice Nancy M. Saitta (Ret.) has joined ARM’s distinguished panel of neutrals and is available full-time to serve as a mediator, arbitrator, special master, consultant and private judge. Her varied background and immense expertise will make her the perfect choice for complex and challenging cases in almost any area of civil litigation. Justice Saitta prides herself on being extremely diligent in her preparation for every single matter she handles. She is also well known for her tenacity in facilitating resolution on high-stake matters.|
Justice Saitta began her judicial career in 1996 when she was appointed as a Las Vegas Municipal Court Judge. Two years later, she was elected a judge in the 8th Judicial District Court, where she created the specialized Complex Litigation Division for streamlined case management of construction defect and other significant matters such as medical malpractice. During this time, Justice Saitta also served as the lead settlement judge, wherein she held a minimum of two settlement conferences per week to help address the backlog of complex cases. As a result, she has conducted hundreds of settlement conferences in all areas of complex litigation. In 2006, Justice Saitta was elected to the Supreme Court and served as Chief Justice from 2011 to 2012 and then retired from public service in 2016.
“Justice Saitta is a fantastic addition to our panel here in Nevada,” said Jessica Stock, Director of Panel Development at ARM. “We work tirelessly to recruit only the best neutrals and we have had a successful year already with the additions of Paul Haire, Jamie Chrisman and Jay Young among others. However, what we are most proud of is having Justice Saitta listed alongside Judge Glass and Justice Becker. Having three strong female jurists is something we are very proud of.”
