Paul M. Haire, Esq.
BIOGRAPHY
After 25 years as a successful litigator, 13 of which have included service as a private mediator and arbitrator, Paul Haire made the decision to transition into private dispute resolution full-time as a neutral at Advanced Resolution Management. Over the course of his legal career, Paul has specialized in civil litigation involving general liability, complex business/commercial cases, personal injury, products liability, premises liability, construction and contractual matters. As such, he has litigated, arbitrated, mediated and tried a wide variety of cases.
Paul has developed a reputation in the legal community for being both fair and reasonable. In fact, he has been extremely successful in gaining the trust, confidence and respect of those who have worked with him and against him. As a result, his peers started to call upon him regularly to serve as a private mediator and arbitrator on their cases. That was over 13 years ago. Wanting to be at the top in his field, Paul sought out the best ADR training programs in the country. He has received certification from the nationally acclaimed Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School, as well as the Saltman Center at UNLV’s Boyd Law School, and the Edwards Mediation Academy in San Francisco. This advanced training has provided Paul with the insight and tools necessary to handle some of the most contentious and complex civil disputes. Paul has also served as an adjunct professor teaching MBA courses in negotiation, business law and decision-making.
Often times, its Paul’s knowledge of the insurance industry and its inner workings that are key to bringing all the parties together and finding common ground. As a litigator, he has represented both sides, and now as a neutral, Paul draws from that experience. He brings a unique perspective to every case, often proposing creative and innovative ways to settle; options that even the parties themselves had not previously considered. As an arbitrator, Paul has strong evaluation skills, is fair and impartial and will work tirelessly to render fair and well-reasoned opinions. More importantly, he manages the process, effectively moving the case along to avoid unreasonable cost and delay. As a mediator, Paul is best known for his thorough preparation. Through the use of pre-mediation phone calls and review of all the briefs, pleadings and discovery, Paul arms himself with as much knowledge and understanding of the issues as possible so that the parties get the most out of every session. He strives to reach resolution on every case that comes before him and will follow up with the parties for as long as it will take to reach a settlement.
